Project
Culture for Structural Development illustrated by South-Eastern Europe (CSD)
Approach
"A Soul for Europe" liases between those bearing political responsibility at national and European level and cultural networks in the region of South Eastern Europe in order to utilize their European added value for strategies to improve structural development and regional policy. The main target groups are young Europeans and future decision-makers in the region.
Usability criteria for structural development include contributions made by the projects towards:
- stabilizing structures in public life and the public sphere
- developing and consolidating civic structures
- promoting social and cultural cohesion
- reconciling local and regional conflicts
- developing economic activities and structures
The idea is to produce a set of guidelines (white paper) that will be presented to the initiative's Steering Committee to ensure that it acquires political validity.
