Ter afsluiting van het Europees Jaar van Creativiteit en Innovatie vindt de EUREKA! - dag plaats. U bent van harte welkom voor informatie over Europese subsidies voor culturele samenwerking, speed dates met adviseurs en een uitgebreid programma met diverse sprekers over de creatieve industrie, creatieve steden, ondernemerschap, cultuureducatie, digitalisering van erfgoed en innovatieve organisaties. In de Concertzaal is de fototentoonstelling ‘Slimmerds: creativiteit en innovatie in actie' te bezichtigen. Deze tentoonstelling toont creatieve en innovatieve projecten in Nederland, van uitvindingen op High Tech Campus Eindhoven en vergaderen bij Twijnstra Gudde tot virtual reality onderzoek op de Universiteit van Amsterdam en ruimtereizen in het Museum voor Communicatie. Ondernemers als Hermen Hulst van de kaskraker Killzone 2, Bas Kosters en Omar Munie tonen hoe ver je het in de creatieve industrie kunt schoppen.
Deze dag wordt live uitgezonden op de radio. Wilfred Genee zal in gesprek gaan met mensen die zich inzetten voor een creatief en innovatief Europa.
