GRAD: Declaration of representatives of Serbian independent cultural scene

"We, independent non-governmental cultural organizations agreed to begin the process of closer cooperation and association with a few basic goals".

1. Exchange of cultural programs;
2. Beginning the process of dialogue and cooperation with public institutions in the Republic and the cities to foster the common cultural development;
3. Joint applying to international donors;
4. Strengthening the capacity of the independent scene,
5. Making effort to increase the positive impact on decision making in the sphere of cultural policy at national and local levels;
6. Decentralization of cultural activities in Serbia.

This declaration has been written and signed by, among many others, GRAD/The City - European Centre for Citizenship, Culture & Debate. GRAD is supported by the MATRA Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Felix Meritis.
