Summer School in GRAD, Belgrade
Felix Meritis has founded GRAD, European centre for Culture and Debate in Belgrade.
This summer school presents two courses:
Entrepreneurship in the Arts (May 17-19, 2011)
Young artists and graduate students from the arts are invited to develop a plan to start up their own business. Their business and communications plans are presented during a role play in the style of The Dragons Den (BBC). Out of the 20 pitches 10 projects are selected by the participants. Each group will do a presentation in their own chosen formats, as long as it is convincing for investors or stakeholders. In the end 3 projects are selected and presented by the participants who are by now all team members of one of these 3 projects. With Rachel Feuchtwang and Farid Tabarki.
Diversity 2.0 (May 20-22, 2011)
This training is about ensuring that everybody within an organisation has the opportunity to maximise their potential and enhance their self-development and their contribution. It recognises that people from different backgrounds can bring fresh ideas and perceptions, which can make the way work is done more efficient, make products and services better and help reach a broader audience. Implementing Diversity 2.0 will successfully help organisations to nurture creativity and innovation and thereby to tap hidden capacity for growth and improved competitiveness. With Kirsten van den Hul and Jamila Aanzi.
