Schneemann & Co. Playground! - The wind opened the doors
In the oldest Concert Hall of the Netherlands Schneemann & Co. presents a new concertseries on three Sunday afternoons.
Flutist Marieke Schneemann brings musicians of different generations together in the more than 220-year-old Concert Hall of Felix Meritis. The audience may see a 12-year-old Japanese girl who plays the piano beautifully, a flutist who plays Paganini while cycling on a racing bike, or a video of Karel Appel throwing paint on a canvas.
The titles of the shows refer to the work of the absurdist poets André Breton and Jean Cocteau, in the same way as Playground! associates with chamber music, images and snippets of poetry. After the show, be sure to try the delicious SchneemannSoup!
