Prize-giving ceremony ASN Bank Media Prize (Silver Zebra) 2008
The ASN Bank Media Prize (Silver Zebra) is the national media prize for professional media productions that pay attention to the multicultural society in the Netherlands in a special way. The purpose of the prize is to reward and stimulate the work of professional media producers who make a positive contribution to mutual understanding and tolerance. There are two categories: print and audiovisual media. The winners of both will receive a work of art made by Ineke Roelfzema and € 5000.
Before the awarding of the Silver Zebra, another prize will be presented: the Silver Feather. This is an incentive prize for bursting media talent or exceptional media initiatives that have a positive influence on the representation of the multicultural society. This year the winner will be decided by public vote on the internet platform of the ASN Bank: www.voordewereldvanmorgen.nl
Before the ceremony, from 19.00 hrs, there is an exhibition with some of the contributions.
