Opzij: Top 100 powerful women
For the third year in succession the magazine Opzij is holding the Top 100 powerful women. This year the event will take place in Felix Meritis.
There is a wide-ranging programme with various parallel sessions. For instance, Prof. Janka Stoker will present the results of an inquiry into women and power and will engage in debate with women in top positions. Readers will have the opportunity to put searching questions to thirteen powerful women during a speed date. Jessica de Jong, author of Vrouwen zijn gelijk aan mannen (behalve in de directiekamer) or Women are equal to men (except in the boardroom) will debate whether or not it is a good idea to emphasise the added value of women in order to get them into top functions.
Afterwards the editor-in-chief Margriet van der Linden will announce the number ones in the ten different sections and who is the most powerful woman of the year in the Netherlands. The evening will conclude with an exclusive performance by the cabaret artiste and Opzij columnist Claudia de Breij.
