Matthias Kadar: Chant & Son - Oiseaux de passage

Composer, chansonnier and singer Matthias Kadar presents the diverse concertseries Chant & Son in the famous Shaffy Hall.
In each edition, Feike Boschma, the famous Dutch puppeteer, will be a guest, letting the puppets play to the music and a special guest will be invited.
This edition Matthias Kadar sings and plays work of himself, Georges Brassens, Ramses Shaffy and 'Lieder' by Schubert. Guest musician will be Hester Cnossen on saxophone and tárogató.
Matthias Kadar
Matthias Kadar (1977) was born in Paris of Hungarian-German parents. After a short study in economics, he decided to concentrate on music and composing. Kadar studied with Christian Lauba in Bordeaux and with Theo Loevendie at the conservatory in Amsterdam. In his work, there are about two hundred pieces for most instruments including a book for piano (Der Virtuos), a book of songs for baritone voice and piano based on poems in German, Hungarian and French, a small theater piece (Cyrano) and a Concerto for violin and orchestra (Aede). Most of his works have had public performances at different festivals all over the world, like the Mahler festival in Budapest, in Ireland, Japan, USA, Salzburger Festspiele and many others.
