Launch European House for Culture
The European House for Culture is a shared vision: the vision that arts and culture have a fundamental role in society and a central role in the process of European integration. There is a need to work together, to embrace the synergies that have been created over the years and to make the contribution and expertise of the cultural sector more visible.
The house will act as a catalyst and a House of Welcome for all who relate to culture and Europe. By facilitating the existence of a physical working and meeting place of the cultural sector in Brussels and by enhancing the collaboration between cultural and civil society networks and actors, the European House for Culture will develop into a strong and visible lobbying and advocacy place in Europe. Felix Meritis is one of the partners.
To celebrate its presentation the EHfC will host a public event with an inspiring key note speech by a high level European personality followed by a panel discussion with a welcome drink and informal gathering.
Location: Flagey, Brussels
The European House for Culture is an initiative of the European Festivals Association.
