Hamlet: The beginning

During the International Theatre School Festival Amsterdam, Russian students of the  St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy, Acting and Directing will perform in Felix Meritis.

On the threshold of their professional careers, these Russian students present a new interpretation of Shakespeare´s Hamlet. Trying to find parallels with their personal lives they immerse themselves in a barren world where love is inextricably bound up with lies. A story about unsolvable clashes, broken characters and wavering support. A tale about humanity and about the shock of being introduced to adult life.
