Forum Guimarães - Uma Alma para a Europa

If there is such a thing as European culture, it is to be found in the cities and regions of Europe. Forum Guimarães set up multiple discussions around the role of culture in the transformation of the urban scenario, to reflect on its impact upon European development, and to forge new ways for co-operation between civil society and policy-makers.

Forum Guimarães included the participation of Members of the European Parliament, representatives from the European Commission, active participants from the initiative A Soul for Europe, national cultural practitioners and members of local, regional and national civil society.
