Felix & Sofie: The remembrance of famous philosophers
Diogenes Laertius wrote his Life and Apprenticeship of Famous Philosophers at some time in the 3rd century AD. The book contains 82 biographies of philosophers. What is the value of this book for modern times, and which philosophers were influenced by it? Hans Kennepohl will discuss this with Charles Hupperts (classicist and translator).
Lisa Doeland talks with Jeroen Bons (University of Amsterdam) about the success of Barack Obama. How must we understand this success? And what is changed with his election?
