Felix & Sofie: Feast of Enlightenment
In this dark period of the year we celebrate the feast of the Enlightenment. It is an appropriate time to shed light on the Enlightenment together with Rousseau, Descartes, Kant and Hegel.
The negative thinking of philosophers like Locke and Hobbes has been exploited and has turned us into negative creatures. Individual freedom does not make us happier but makes us feel lost. The human being is a creature who can make things happen and therefore has the moral obligation to do so. In a festive social contract we will swear an oath to freedom for all of us.
Participants include Govert Derix, Sven Lütticken, Frans Winkens and Jeanne Holierhoek.

"The human being is a creature who can make things happen and therefore has the moral obligation to do so." Very cool guide to life.
