European Elections: Culture and Media – How multiform can we be?
In the run-up to the elections for the European Parliament on 4 June 2009, the theme of this meeting will be the last developments in the media branch, state support for public broadcasting companies, innovation in news services and developments in cultural policy.
Ad 's-Gravesande (chairman Kunsten '92), Lennart van der Meulen (Dutch public television), Kees Spaan (chairman branch organization NPD Dutch Newspaper Press) and Hans Maarten van den Brink (director Dutch Cultural Broadcasting Fund) and others will discuss these themes with future European party leaders.
