After the Meltdown: The Future of Capitalism and Globalization in the Age of the Twin Crises
After the Meltdown: The Future of Capitalism and Globalization in the Age of the Twin Crises is the latest book by Marc de Vos. It reveals the profound consequences of the economic crisis for the future of the economic markets, international relations, capitalism and globalization. According to De Vos the State will deepen its influence and strengthen its leading position within market mechanisms.
The following guests will discuss these consequences with Marc de Vos: Marietje Schaake (Member European Parliament for D66), Rens van Tilburg (Innovatieplatform) and economist Esther-Mirjam Sent (Professor of Economic Theory & Policy and publishes in a.o. De Volkskrant). What future do the world economy and capitalism have? What role does Dutch politics play in the changing constellation of powers between the EU, USA and China?
